TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR STEMS OF WONDER PURCHASES
Effective from August 2025

These Terms & Conditions apply to all Stems of Wonder purchases made through www.thestemsproject.co.nz. By completing your order, you agree to the following:

1. Product Types & Duration

Stems of Wonder offers two seasonal seed box options:

• Spring Wonder Subscription (5 deliveries):
A prepaid, limited-edition subscription that runs from September to December. Includes five fortnightly deliveries designed to cover the prime sowing season.

• Spring Sampler Box (single delivery):
A one-off box sent in October or November, timed for spring sowing.

All products are one-time purchases and do not auto-renew.

2. Prepayment & Billing

All purchases are prepaid in full at the time of ordering. This secures your spot and allows us to plan and pack your boxes in advance. No further payments will be taken.

3. No Cancellations, Refunds, or Returns

Due to the seasonal nature of the seeds and the forward planning required:

• Orders are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled, paused, or altered once placed.

• We do not offer returns or exchanges, including if the seed varieties are already familiar to you.

All seed boxes include clear growing instructions, and we select fresh, viable seeds. However, as growing success depends on external conditions, we cannot guarantee germination or results. If you’re having issues, please get touch — we’re happy to help.

4. Shipping & Dispatch

• Spring Wonder Subscriptions start shipping in early September and continue fortnightly until early December, depending on when you order. Orders placed after 5 October will receive a gift certificate and the boxes will be sent the following season (spring 2026).

• Spring Sampler Boxes are sent in October and November. Orders placed after Nov 25th will receive a gift certificate and the box will be sent the following season (spring 2026).

All deliveries are via tracked courier (Go Sweet Spot). Most arrive within 1–2 working days.

You’ll receive an email notification when your box is on the way.

5. Delivery Address Changes

Need to update your address? Let us know before your next delivery ships. We’re happy to send your box to a new location, or to a friend, with enough notice.

6. Gift Orders

If ordering as a gift, you’ll receive a form after checkout to provide recipient details and message. You can choose to have:

• The box sent directly to the recipient, or

• Sent to you to gift in person

Gift certificates also available.

7. Plant & Seed Safety

Some seeds may be toxic if ingested. These are clearly marked. Please grow them out of reach of children and pets.

8. Biosecurity Compliance

All seed varieties are permitted under current NZ biosecurity regulations and approved for import. We never include unapproved or restricted seeds. Where required, MPI seed import permits and documentation have been obtained. We never include restricted or unapproved species.
